Hey, I am fine with another Fast and Furious movie after the success of Fast Five , which I thought was the best movie of the franchise (and still is as far as I am concerned). But, as the filmmakers continue on with the series, they are really focused more on the characters and their plans to take someone down than the street racing and lack of physics. They are basically presenting the movies as fun entertainment and not physics and logic. With this movie, the series continues on to become entertaining and better. Following the successful Rio heist, Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) is living with Elena (Elsa Pataky) somewhere in Rio, while Brian and Mia (Paul Walker and Jordana Brewster) are living happily with their newborn son in a house in Rio. But, Agent Hobbs (Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson) tracks down Dominic to take down Owen Shaw (Luke Evans), who was a British Special Forces soldier who destroyed a Russian military convoy. ...

It's the holidays, right? So, when everybody gets out of work or out of school for the day or out of a final, you feel tired and weary and want to recline on a soft bed with hot cocoa or coffee and a dessert. Well, again, it is the holidays, so I listen to Christmas carols or Christmas songs now and again. I know that this is a movie blog and it is irrelevant, but I want to have fun and share with you my favorite 15 (or maybe more) Christmas songs along with the singers or orchestra that are provided. 1. What's Josh Brolin doing in a box? Remaking a film of such class and high praise is certainly risky for a director's reputation. I mean, it takes a lot of thought and courage to make a remake your own creation and masterpiece. For example, Infernal Affairs  was made in Hong Kong in 2002 and Martin Scorsese remade that movie 4 years later into the masterful crime movie  The Departed . Even, the Coen brothers remade True Grit  and I thought that 2010 movie was superior to the movie with John Wayne. However, this remake of the 2003 South Korean cult film does not work. Advertising executive Joe Doucet (Josh Brolin) ruins a meeting when he hit on a client's girlfriend. Afterwards, he goes to a bar owned by his buddy, Chucky (Michael Imperioli) and gets drunk. When he spots a woman with a yellow umbrella on his way out of the bar, Joe is knocked unconscious. Matthew McConaughey as Ron Woodroof. Filmmakers, producers, writers, actors, and others involved in this project had to research the subject of AIDS and produce it subjectively and carefully as they had to involve the audience in the movie. I believe that movies about these types of subjects associating with AIDS are tough to watch but people from the audience in a movie theater can really learn some issues or sub-topics in the medical and pharmaceutical fields. Although, I was not entirely entranced by the overall results of the movie, the movie is really informative and gripping thanks to two fantastic performances. The movie takes place in Dallas, Texas, 1985, where Ron Woodroof (Matthew McConaughey) just had sex with a woman before he glances at a newspaper article stating that Rock Hudson, an actor, has died of AIDS. Anna and Kristof meet Olaf, the snowman. Disney Animation has been on a roll with The Princess and the Frog  (I was not too crazy about it despite some great characters), Tangled , and Wreck-It Ralph . I mean the holiday season is upon us and children would want to see a movie with their families that takes place during the winter, right? Well, I have to confess that Pixar has honestly been creating decent movies, but not memorable ones recently. So, since there is not really a lot of competition from other animated movies this year, Frozen is no question the best animated movie of 2013. The movie starts with the young sisters, Anna and Elsa, when they were children, playing with Elsa's snow magic. When the magic goes too far, the royal family tells the trolls to remove the magic from Anna and the memory of her sister's power.
