The Oscars was good at best. Chris Rock delivered a very good monologue, both, hilarious and worthy of talking about regarding its lack of diversity in both Hollywood and the Academy. I thought he kept the monologue real balanced until the joke and issue stretched it too far throughout the show. I kept saying, "We get it. Let's move on." (I'll admit: The segment in which they put the African-American actors in the movies like The Danish Girl and The Martian was funny.) But, there were some surprises (Stallone not winning and Ex Machina getting Visual Effects) and delights (Spotlight winning Best Picture and Leonardo DiCaprio finally winning his first Oscar.)
